30 years as a GC in the Pacific Northwest. In addition we have worked in Belize, The Bahamas, Colombia S.A. and the U.A,E.
How do you charge your projects?
The common practice in Montana after covid is a cost plus contract because of the price swings on materials. We provide full disclosure on these actual costs. Your estimate is derived from these quotes but they may change by the time of order.
Do you subcontract any of your work?
Yes. I have learned from experience that the highest quality will be had from subcontractors. They are subject matter experts and workman in their field.
How do you handle scheduling?
We prepare a schedule after the estimate is generated. A schedule is like a weather forecast, there are many unknowns that affect it. Any schedule changes are explained to you and adjusted in writing.
